FRENCH PLUM PUDDING & GILT BRASS MOUNT ARMOIRE, c. mid-late 1800’s.
The moulded rectilinear cornice surmounted by two gilt brass flame finials over a raised and recessed panel frieze out set over two rectilinear doors forming a split dome shaped glazed panel over an out set raised and recessed panel apron drawer raised on tapered columns with brass points surmounted by reeded tapered turned columns. The sides with a raised and recessed plum pudding panel enhanced with pearl stringing. The whole with gilt brass egg & dart, leaf & berry garland, wreath, vine, ribbon, pearl, foliate and cartouche motifs.
