FRENCH MAHOGANY EMPIRE CHEVAL, c. early 1800’s. The original looking glass with rectilinear ribbon mahogany frame suspended by carved spheres to tapered round columns surmounted by carved urn finials terminating in a square base joined to a curved tapered square splay foot raised on brass casters. The whole with gilt brass mounts. The wood with excellent color and patina.
