AUSTRIAN PINE BED, c. late 1800’s. The headboard presenting a carved shaped crest embellished with scrollwork and stylized foliate and shell motifs over horizontal reeding above a raised and recessed rectilinear panel raised on rectilinear vertical uprights. The rectilinear side rails joined to a raised and recessed rectilinear footboard embellished with horizontal reeding.
