Dutch Early 20th Century Brass Oil Chandelier
Dimensions: 45 1/2″H x 28″Diameter
An elegant nine-light brass chandelier from The Netherlands circa 1900. This chandelier was originally designed to burn oil that was piped into buildings much like gas is today. This outmoded technology has been recently updated with electricity and cleaned thoroughly. The fixture has been wired so that it can be mounted flush against the wall, or hung using a chain. The piece has been embellished with brass laurel leaves, other foliate motifs, grapes, and floral rosettes.
