English 19th Century Oak Joint Stool
Dimensions: 18 3/4″H x 18″W x 11 1/4″D
A fantastic little oak stool, carved by hand in England, circa 1890. The apron is particularly special with this antique in that it is wonderfully carved, with symmetrical arched horseshoes on all sides. The legs are beautifully turned in a candlestick design and joined by a low stretcher. Warmth and charisma radiate from this little seat thanks to its magnificent patina. Leaving not a single hard edge, time has worn this antique stool in a way that tells its story, with each person who’s touched it contributing their part to its undoubtable charm.
