A terrific mahogany enfilade, made in France, towards the beginning of the 20th century. The piece incorporates elements of both Louis XVI and Directoire styles. It is topped in white marble, which is in wonderful antique condition. Brass trim can be found on both the drawer fronts and door fronts, with drop ring pulls on the drawers. Brass escutcheons surround the keyholes, and have been cast with motifs of knotted ribbons above garland swags. The doors all have working locks and close before three separate cavities, each having a single adjustable shelf. All feet are turned and tapered, with fluted carvings and brass sabots.
