A handsome Empire style petite gueridon hand-crafted in France during the 19th century from beautifully patinated mahogany. Topped with a thick black stone showcasing gray spherical patterns throughout. Three column-form legs feature brass ormolu capitals and bases. A thick shaped stretcher shelf connects the legs above well turned feet for continued support. It’s classic design and simple elegance makes it an easy table to incorporate into any existing decor style. A wonderful gueridon from France, crafted in the 19th century, that showcases eye-catching inlay work throughout and features a white marble top encompassed by a unique pierced brass gallery. The apron houses two drawers and two slides with metal hardware to easily slide open. Both drink slides feature inset black leather tops in good condition and bring the maximum width to 40-¾”. Square legs with a sharp taper are fixed with brass sabot feet for continued support. The stone bears the marks of many decades of use- some discoloration and a small crack along the perimeter add to the tables antique charm. The inlay work on the apron has some repairs as well.
