    An English black tole box from ‘John Moreton & Company, Wolverhampton”. This small box has gold painted ivy designs with a brass center handle and opens to a fitted interior with two levels of storage. The top level has two compartments with hinged tops and center handle for accessing the lower level. Inside the top of the box you’ll find the maker’s trademark, a butterfly.     An English 19th Century top quality, solid mahogany tea caddy. This shaped box has a carved angular top lined with satinwood opening to a fitted interior. There are two removable fitted compartments with sliding tops once used for storing loose leaf teas. The center has its original cut crystal blending bowl. The base of the box is made of rich mahogany with an inlaid satinwood shield escutcheon plate. The whole is raised on decorative bronze feet. Note that the back legs have been repaired.     An English 19th Century mahogany tea caddy with diamond shaped mother-of-pearl inlay surrounded by a marquetry pattern of satin wood, mahogany and ebonized wood. The top and the front facade of the box are surrounded with geometric marquetry patterns while the sides and back are more simple. This box has a functioning lock and key and opens to a fitted interior. The left compartment has its original top for storing loose leaf tea.     We absolutely love this decorative trunk from England! Bound in perfectly worn dark leather and adorned with brass studs in swirling patterns. The lock is in working condition and includes one key. A pair of simple handles on each side make it easy to carry even when filled. The interior is lined with a faded red fabric and is fixed with leather cording to support the lid. Both decorative and functional, this unique petite trunk will add a touch of whimsy to any space.     A lovely, English apprentice chest from the 18th century, c. 1780. This wonderful work is that of an apprentice that studied under a woodworker. In order to work for the woodworker, the apprentice would have to build a box, utilizing his best skills. The chest is oak and its hardware is brass. It has a unique crown-like trim around the top making this chest one-of-a-kind.
