    A large oak Spanish dining table extends to over twelve feet long. This table has a simple plank top over carved decorative legs connected by a hand forged iron support. At each end you’ll find iron brackets under the table top that the removable leaves slide into adding 36”W in total. Cleaned and polished with a paste wax this table is ready for your immediate use.     A Swedish 18th Century Period Gustavian banquette with its original hand-scraped painted finish. The solid constructed frame makes a statement and has a removable seat cushion.     This massive Louis XVI style Swedish banquette is almost 8 feet long. All hand carved with laurel leaves at the crest continuing to an open frame with Louis XVI motifs and tall fluted legs.   • French Reproduction Walnut Bibliotheque

    This classically designed breakfront bibliotheque was custom made with beautiful walnut veneer. The center of the bookcase has two glass paneled doors with five adjustable shelves measuring 12.5” deep, below are two pull out slides measuring 33 ½” deep. The bottom has simple paneled doors that open to a custom storage cavity. This bookcase must have been used in an office and there are two shelves with slides, most likely used to pull out a printer or other electronic devices. The center column of this bookcase is flanked by a pair of open shelves that have a narrow depth, perfect for displaying books and accessories. Each side has five adjustable shelves at 9” deep. Below are doors inset with brass wire, behind is one adjustable shelf on each side at 6.5” deep. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax this bookcase is ready for your immediate use.     A statement French bibliotheque in the Louis XVI Style made of richly toned mahogany and brass details. This case piece is topped with a demilune pediment and 4 decorative finials. There are three sections to the bibliotheque all flanked with round fluted columns. Each door opens to its own interior with 4 adjustable shelves at 12 ¼”deep. The glass is all original and there are three working locks using one key. The whole sits on turned feet inset with brass.     This French 18th century armoire in the Louis XV style has a fantastic dark oak finish and gorgeous hand carved details. A shaped cornice sits above elaborately paneled doors on long steel barrel hinges. This piece retains its original locking systems and one key. The doors unlock to reveal a large storage cavity with three natural oak finish adjustable shelves that measure 20 ⅜” deep. This incredible storage piece is highly decorative with multi panels, molded edges, elaborate scroll trim and hand-carved shell and starfish accents. In wonderful antique condition, it has gained a fine patina and sits sturdily on thick scrolled legs that connect with a heavily detailed apron that’s design is also included on each of the sides.     A very early 19th Century English farmhouse table made from elm and ash. The top is made from solid elm planks supported on an ash base, which has a simple apron that follows down to streamlined and well supported squared legs. This table is well constructed and has a great color and wonderful patina from age and use. Very sturdy with excellent dimensions. Be sure to view all the images for a better look at the condition of this hand-crafted antique. In those images you will find that the top is removable from the base.

  • Custom Armoire Made with 19th Century Painted Boiserie Doors

    This one of a kind armoire was custom made to showcase the fabulous pair of 19th century painted boiserie panels that now serve as the doors. Boiserie panels rose in popularity during the 18th century as a way to emulate the grandeur of the French nobility, but they also served many practical purposes like heat insulation and noise control. A marvelous, dawn- hued scene overlooking a vast countryside depicts a variety of avian species in the foreground. Antiqued brass hardware perfectly compliments the colorscape of the paintings. The left door features an interior hook to hold it closed while the right is secured with a strong magnetic door catch. The interior is painted a warm walnut color and easily houses 5 adjustable shelves with a depth of 14”. The exterior was painted to match the existing color of the door panels. The whole is slightly raised on bracket feet and adds a nice shape to the overall body.     A set of five Gustavian style dining chairs, circa 1810, with fantastic potential in any space. The curved back rests feature reeding details on the back and seem suspended by turned spindles. Lambs tongue carving on the apron is interrupted by folate carved joinery dies above tapered, reeded legs. White muslin is fixed to the frames with visible upholsterers nails and is ready for the fabric of your choice or left as is depending on your style.     An Impressive 19th century Swedish gateleg tilt top table. Eight pointed starburst in the center and an encompassing border, done in light gray paint, accentuates the slight differences in the wood grain. Supported by a gateleg, it’s incredibly easy to tilt the top up to store. When the top is tilted the measurements are 58-½”H x 57-⅜”W x 15-¼”D.   • Swedish Gustavian 19th Century Painted Secretary

    A generously sized secretary style desk, made in Sweden in the Gustavian style. A wonderfully patinated painted finish envelops the pine chest/desk – a hallmark of Gustavian antiques. The top will unfold to reveal a well-appointed interior. Six drawers and two large cubbies provide lodgings for inkpots, quills, parchment…or perhaps a laptop or tablet today. The top can be accessed using its functional locking mechanism. Three wide drawers span the chest base, all with turned, styled knobs. A sweet, shaped skirt provides a bit of style to this multifunctional case antique. 

  • Swedish 19th Century Bakers Cabinet

    This fantastic Swedish bakers cabinet is a versatile addition to any space. Crafted in the 19th century with the original, worn charcoal marble top. The apron houses a single lengthwise drawer with a pair of oval bail pulls. Unlocking the shaped paneled doors reveals two removable shelves in the usual fashion of a bakers table with the ability to fully slide out- sometimes called baker boards. The interior shelves are not original but match the antique finish well. Over the decades this cabinet has gained a wonderful patina.   • Dutch 19th Century Apothecary Display Case

    A massive Dutch apothecary display case from a pharmacy. A large cornice with gorgeous acanthus leaf carvings draws the eyes up. Three molded, adjustable shelves compose the top portion while the bottom single shelf is fixed. Fantastic reeding and fluting details perfectly compliment the paneling on the sides. In wonderful antique condition with a gentle patina, there is plenty of space for books, art, and decor. This piece would have originally been built into the wall behind the pharmacist counter, evidence of which can still be found on the back. The last photograph shows supports that are provided and need to be attached for shipping due to its size.   • 18th Century Gustavian Settee

    This eye-catching 18th century Swedish painted settee is a jewel of a find. The hand carved details throughout are beautifully accentuated by the original pale gray painted finish. A high gallery rail on three sides- perfect for bunching up pillows- with stylized urn forms lifting an upper upholstered section. The worn upholstery does need to be replaced, giving you the chance to add your own touch to perfectly fit your space. The turned legs feature beautiful flower like carvings and a round finial atop each support. Since the 1700’s, this piece has seen a lot of life and achieved a lovely patina. Seat height with the cushion is 20”, without the removable cushion is 16”. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at this truly unique piece.

  • Italian 18th Century Parcel-Gilt and Painted Canapé

    Dimensions: 48 5/8″ H x 71″ W 27 3/8″ D

    Masterfull artistic talent was employed to create this stunning Italian canape. The sofa’s back could be mistaken for a canvas, given the finely detailed artwork that graces its surface. A central cartouche encircles a sweet bouquet of potted flowers, with tassels and filigree subjects visible. The back has gilt finials that flank its central painted crest rail. Gold gilt accents can also be found atop the armrests and ornamental joinery dies. The settee is currently outfitted with an upholstered cushion that is covered in a golden champagne-colored silk fabric with a cross-hatched laurel embroidery pattern. The green painted frame is wonderfully patinated, with delicate garlands painted atop in a darker shade of blue/green and other golden embellishments. Six tapered legs lift the canape and also bear the beautifully painted detailing.

  • French 19th Century Provincial Walnut Enfilade

    This remarkable French Provincial Louis XV-style walnut and marble-top enfilade, c. 1840, is quite deep, offering plenty of storage. The impressive grey-brown marble top, with white inclusions, has recently been repaired and shows some scratches. The three shaped-panel doors are deeply carved, mounted with hand-cut steel escutcheons and steel barrel hinges, and open to reveal a single fixed shelf. Below is a well-carved apron and block feet. Accompanied by two original steel keys.

    This exuberantly-carved Spanish oak refectory table, c. 1800, will add a rich and bold statement to any room it’s placed.  The cleated plank top, above a scroll-carved frieze, is raised on bulbous gadroon-and-foliage carved cup and supports.
