A fabulous set of four Mid-Century modern dining chairs made in France circa 1960. These beautiful chairs are in excellent condition and feature gilded silver and gold accented metal frames that are extremely sturdy while showcasing a sleek design.The elongated backrests are slightly shaped for good back support while presenting an elegant profile. The seats are made with cushions upholstered in worn sage green velvet and they are oh so comfortable. This classic set of five dining chairs was crafted in England, circa 1860. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste. The wonderfully patinated solid oak proves to be incredibly sturdy after nearly 200 years, giving them the ability to withstand everyday use. Turned dowels create an open back look. Attached to the turned legs, a stretcher provides continued support. Sold as a set only. Seat height; 17-½”. This is a stylish set of Danish inspired modern teak dining chairs.  The seat cushions are upholstered in black vinyl and connect to the frame in a way that makes them look as if they are floating.  One chair has a stamp on the bottom of the seat cushion.  The seat backs are ladder-back style and have a slight curve to them.  Each chair sits on small metal glides attached to the bottoms of the legs.  Seats: 17-⅞”H.  See detailed pictures for condition.

A smart set of four French Mid-Century walnut armchairs with upholstered seats. The chairs have a design that incorporates both straight lines and right angles with curves and more shapely forms. The chairs’ backs all have crossed S-form curves that create a shapely X-form splat. The seats are upholstered in a spiced apricot colored fabric and cording, with much of the cording worn to a neutral cream color.
