Our antique and vintage storage pieces are made with rich woods such as mahogany, walnut, oak, pine and fruitwood as well as painted antiques. Our furniture features hand-carved details for a traditional style or sharp, clean lines for a modern style. Many of our antiques include a marble top or natural stone. Our marble top tables and marble top chests fit seamlessly into a contemporary home.

    This Louis Philippe vitrine was crafted in France during the 19th century from finley bookmatched mahogany. A brass border encompasses the large single pane of glass and faux panel below it. The interior is lined with a vibrant red linen blend fabric with a gold trim to give it a finished look. Three adjustable glass shelves provide a sophisticated way to display or store your favorite things. Below the main storage space are two drawers; one with Empire style hardware and one without. The larger, more obvious drawer is fixed with a pair of lion face drop ring pulls and a laurel escutcheon. The plain drawer is perfect for hiding valuables and provides a bit more storage space.     This French bombe chest from the 1780’s is a unique find. Fixed with the original red-ocher, shaped marble top with a molded edge. A very small, older repair to one of the marbles’ corners is barely visible. This commode’s mixed woods are beautifully displayed on all three drawers and both sides. There are book-matched details throughout the piece, giving it wonderful symmetry. Incredible brass folate inspired ormolu pulls and escutcheons elegantly complement the overall design. A shaped bottom drawer and cabriole legs are classic elements of bombe commodes and chests from this period. This four door case antique is split into two bodies: a larger lower body and a smaller upper body. The upper doors are wonderfully molded and conceal a single cavity with two removable shelves. The lower paneled doors open to reveal a space with a single removable shelf.     This stately bonneterie was crafted in France during the 19th century from solid walnut. The bonneterie was created in the mid 18th century in France with the rise in popularity of large and often delicate hats and wigs and a new need for tall, slender storage options. Sharply paneled doors and sides give the piece an uncluttered, symmetrical look. Large iron barrel hinges support the heavy door. Three adjustable shelves are found inside.     A stunning Scandinavian commode with a fold-down secretary desk housed in its top drawer. The top is in great condition with miniscule visible wear. Although narrow, the apron features a pediment with an ebonized triangle to accentuate the shape. You can see the attention to detail when the top drawer front is opened to reveal the secretary work space, finished in bird’s eye maple. A pair of small brass buttons on the interior operates the top release. 13 drawers of varying size provide an abundance of organizational space. Diminutive ivory pulls are fixed to each drawer as well as a decorative gallery with ivory supports showcased in the center. A bank of three drawers with ebinozided receded diamonds with a key hole in the center. All four locks are functioning- one key is included. More recessed ebonized shapes flank the drawers and compliment the vibrant satinwood. When the desk is open the maximum depth is 31-¼” and the work surface is 33”H. In wonderful antique condition with a gentle patina, there is plenty of space for books, art, and decor. This wonderful case antique is composed of two separate compartments that can be outfitted to suit the users needs. There are a total of four shelves and a shelf with a hanging bar inside that can be positioned to one’s liking using the bracket clip and rail system present in both interiors. These interiors can be secured using the doors’ functioning locks. Two keys present. The armoire has beautifully fluted, turreted corners, and a shaped cornice that accentuate this design feature. The book matched panel doors are trimmed in brass and separated by a fixed fluted center stile. The body is lifted on four turned and fluted feet, capped in brass sabots.

    An impressive and substantial solid oak buffet a’ deux corps with Provincial charm from early 19th century France. This four door case antique is split into two bodies: a larger lower body and a smaller upper body. The upper is crowned with an impeccably carved cornice with accented, canted corners that fit the shaped body. Two doors can be used to access the upper interior. They are both hung on barrel hinges and contain functional locks. They conceal an interior outfitted with two fixed shelves that run the width of the upper body. Both the upper and lower bodies have exceptional carved panels that comprise the doors and large center stiles. The lower body has two separated interiors which are each equipped with a single fixed shelf. These too can be secured with their working locks. Four keys.

The top surface is 49 1/4″ high and is surrounded with a wooden gallery on three sides. Two drawers slide easily with simple wood knobs over a pair of doors featuring reeded diamond designs.     A primitive teak cabinet from British Colonial India. The cabinet has been totally carved and planed by hand. It features a repeated carved sunburst motif found on all panels.   • French Vintage Marble Top Demilune Chest

    This striking little demilune chest features exceptional inlaid mahogany in varying varieties that have been thoughtfully book matched and placed about the chest to maximize the beauty expressed through its grain. Made in France in 1965, this vintage chest was created in the style of Louis XVI and underwent a refinishing in November of 2009. This restoration is documented in writing beneath the half moon piece of Breche d’Alep marble which tops the chest, along with the maker’s signature “Vecnissage par H.B.B Maco 1965”. Two shaped drawers are housed within the chest and bedecked with cast brass pulls and escutcheons. There are no keys present. Beautiful cast brass ormolu can also be found about the front feet, apron and flanking the bank of drawers.

    Display your treasured objects in this beautiful early 20th century French Empire style mahogany vitrine. Beveled glass panels can be found in the case antique’s door and sides, allowing one to view the contents placed inside on its two glass shelves. A mirrored back gives the illusion of a completely transparent cabinet. The vitrine has recently undergone a refinishing, giving the antique a ‘like new’ appearance. The wonderful brass hardware found at the capital and base of the pilaster columns which flank the door has been polished to a brilliant luster – along with the sabots that cap the front feet. Inside, two additional finished mahogany lower shelves can be used to house objects out of sight. The door can be locked using the original brass palm motif key included.

    A grand, solid fruitwood enfilade, made in 19th Century France. Crafted in the Empire style, this particular antique does not have much of the cast brass ormolu found on its other Empirical cousins. Its all-wood design sets it apart, giving it a unique and individual presence. The long case antique is composed of four drawers which are situated above four panel doors. Round, cast brass pulls grant access to the drawers. They, along with the doors have been made with bookmatched panels. The doors close before three interior cavities.

    This handsome bedside table is made in the French Empire style using exquisite flame mahogany veneer. Made in France towards the end of the 19th century, this antique cabinet was designed to be placed beside a bed. The black Belgian granite top is ideal for placing a nighttime beverage and the interiors can keep books, remotes, medicines and other bedroom items tidy and out of sight. A drawer is hidden in the apron, above the (at one time) chamber-pot receptacle, which can be accessed by lifting the sliding tambour door. Below is a door that conceals the largest interior space. Pilaster columns, capped in brilliant brass capitals and base collars flank the drawers and doors and provide the bedside with its signature Empire style. It is lifted on small brass casters.

    A spectacular solid walnut armoire, made in France towards the beginning of the 19th Century. The large case antique is crowned with a Chapeau de la Champ style bonnet – named after the hats worn by French military field officers of the time. The armoire has canted corners to which long steel barrel hinges that support the massive doors are attached. These shaped panel doors close before a vast interior 58”W x 19-½”D, which is outfitted with three fixed shelves – one with two drawers – and adorned with beautiful, long pierced brass escutcheons. The walnut selected has beautiful expression, which has been thoughtfully matched and balanced in each hand-planed panel. The armoire has a body width of 60” and is lifted by exceptional turned feet. c.1830.

A single removable shelf is featured on the interior. Paneled door and shaped feet add to the antique charm of the piece. The back of the confiturier has a small hidden door with a turned knob that opens to the interior, a curious element installed by a previous owner. Below the glass doors are three book slides, creating a flat surface for a book or to place a candlestick. When open, they add an extra 11” of depth and an extra layer to your interior. The base is made of simply paneled doors, perfect for enjoying the beauty of the walnut and for hidden storage. Behind the paneled doors is one removable and adjustable shelf.     This wonderful Empire mahogany commode was created in 19th century France. Topped with a removable piece of black fossil granite with rounded front corners. The apron houses a hidden drawer without hardware, it opens easily with groves hidden on the underside of the drawer. Three lower drawers each feature a pair of highly decorative cast brass pulls with a beautiful floral motif and simple brass inset keyholes. No key is present for this piece. Recently cleaned and polished with French wax paste; the bookmatched mahogany veneer has gained a warm patina. There is some minor wear to the drawer edges, adding to its antique charm.
