We carry tables in the styles of French country, Directoire, Mid-Century Modern, Baroque, Gothic and more.

Coffee Tables

A coffee table is an integral component of the modern living room. The English started using this type of table in the late 18th century for their tea trays and newspapers.

Selecting the correct size allows you to derive optimal value from your coffee table. The average antique coffee table ranges in height from 16 to 20 inches. You should also keep a distance of about 18 to 20 inches between the seat and the table.

Console Tables

Console tables date back to the 17th century. The first French console tables consisted of a slab and two wall-mounted brackets. Console tables from later centuries typically reach up to 36 inches high, and they have a slim profile, making them ideal for narrow spaces such as hallways.

Desks

An antique desk is a viable option if you value expert craft and classic designs. They come with stunning features such as oak or mahogany drawer linings, a leather writing surface, and lockable compartments. Fireside Antiques has a wide range of desks, including writing tables, roll-top desks, and ladies’ desks.

Dining Tables

When shopping for dining tables, size should be one of the primary considerations, as you also need space for comfortable seating. We have antique dining tables available in all shapes, sizes, and designs for every setting. Our collection includes, among others, English farm tables for minimalistic spaces, 19th-century work tables for added authenticity, and Art Nouveau bistro tables.
