Shop Vintage & Antique Console Tables

If you’re looking for a uniquely versatile piece of furniture, you’re on the right product page. An antique console table can be the subtle piece you need to fill a tight space. In other instances, it can be the main attraction of a room. It all depends on what you want, and at Fireside Antiques, we have an extensive collection.

An Antique Console Table for Every Space

Console tables are known for their shallow depth, making them a great choice to place against a wall. However, they are also often placed on their own in a hallway or against a couch. The ornamental designs of antique consoles put them a league above the average side table.

Read on to see just a few of the varieties of consoles that we have to offer. We have many more in our 18,000 square foot showroom, all of which are logged in our online inventory.

Demilune Consoles

The word “demilune” means half-moon in French, which references the curvature of demilune consoles’ tabletops. Demilune consoles can be made of different materials. Some of our pieces, such as our 19th-century Italian options, have marble tabletops and ornately carved legs. Other smoother, sleeker 19th-century French antique console tables are made of high-quality mahogany.

Server Tables

Server tables are unique in that they provide storage space as well as decoration. In our collection, you’ll find options with supplementary slide-out panels, wide, shallow drawers, or sometimes both, maximizing their effectiveness in your space. Servers are often favored for the kitchen or dining room but can be a great fit as a sofa table as well.

From beautiful 19th-century French mahogany servers to English walnut and beech servers, every antique server in our inventory has only gotten better with the passage of time, allowing the wood to develop a lovely shine.

Empire Consoles

Typically, empire consoles have a shelf that reaches across the bottom, supported by the table’s legs. Sometimes the shelf is narrow and more decorative, but it can also be more functional. These bottom shelves are excellent for displaying books, elegant vases, cute storage baskets, or any other item that is a good fit for your needs.

Empire antique console tables are among the more common styles, and we are lucky to have several in our showroom. Many are constructed of rich antique mahogany, and some also have beautiful marble tabletops.

No matter what type of antique console table you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it right here at Fireside Antiques.
