A towering pair of 19th century French brass altar candlesticks from a cathedral or church. The center of each bobeche is fitted with a spike, surrounded by a pierced brass crown of unmistakable fleur-de-lis design. Both shafts of the candlestick columns are undecorated apart from a station at the center widening like a toy top, matched by the circular base.
