Belgian Provincial Late-17th/Early-18th Century Oak Tall Case Clock

This lovely antique oak tall case clock was created in Belgium, c. 1800’s or earlier, and retains all of its original hardware. The arched and carved bonnet, having a conforming central glazed door and two oak side doors, houses the mechanism with a pewter and brass clock face marked Passchendaele/Huygebaert, 1798. The door with pendulum window opens to reveal a single weighted pendulum, and the plinth-form paneled base features a central carved rosette.
