This four door case antique is split into two bodies: a larger lower body and a smaller upper body. The upper is crowned with an molded cornice above impeccable carvings depicting draped fabric and hanging tassels. A grand, solid fruitwood enfilade, made in 19th Century France. Crafted in the Empire style, this particular antique does not have much of the cast brass ormolu found on its other Empirical cousins. Its all-wood design sets it apart, giving it a unique and individual presence. The long case antique is composed of four drawers which are situated above four panel doors. Round, cast brass pulls grant access to the drawers. They, along with the doors have been made with bookmatched panels. The doors close before three interior cavities.

A single removable shelf is featured on the interior. Paneled door and shaped feet add to the antique charm of the piece. A fabulous rouge marble top is the perfect top for this stunning transitional French mahogany enfilade. The mahogany case antique has a unique style of its own: incorporating elements of both Louis XVI and Directoire styles. Three drawers can be found in the apron, all with brass bail handles. They are positioned above two interior cavities which vary in size: a smaller to the right and a larger to the left. Both are concealed behind lockable doors. Two keys are included for all three working locks. The smaller compartment has three adjustable shelves. The larger has two adjustable shelves. All drawers and panel doors are trimmed in brass. The drawers are separated by fluted pilasters that run to the case antique’s skirt. The entire enfilade is lifted by six finished, tapered legs which are capped in brass feet.
