A hinged lid functions as a flat, solid surface as well as to conceal the very well patinated end-grain block undeath. The work surface includes a thick block for chopping next to a shallow trough to the right side. Massive steel brackets brace the block, and the table’s apron is finished with a small drawer for convenient storage. Thick, square legs support a shelf just above the floor to complete the thoughtful features within a compact design. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior.
