Original painting of Charles LeBrun, first painter of French King Louis XIV, commissioned for Le Salon de la Paix at Place of Versailles. This is a lithograph drawn by J.B. Masse and engraved by Tardieu Fils of the 47th painting in the salon. The matte board is water colored by hand and has two surrounds of gold gilt. This lithograph has been hand cleaned and fully restored and in excellent condition. New gilt frame with conservation barrier mat and conservation clear glass. Early 1800s
