Fabulous set of four wall sconces in the manner of Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg (Germany) circa 1970 or late 1960s. Each fixture uses an amber glass diffuser formed into a brick-shape, obscured by bubbles on the surface that have an abstract scallop shell pattern to give texture to the light. Black metal backplates are fitted with sockets for standard-base light bulbs. Found in France, the fixtures have been professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts.
