French 19th Century Carved Oak Faux-Bamboo Mirror
Dimensions: 25″H x 26-3/8″W x 1-3/4″D
This terrific faux-bamboo mirror was made in France, circa 1880. Its frame was made by turning hand-selected oak into a stacked-spool or faux bamboo design. The darker frame is nearly a square, which is a somewhat unusual shape for these mirrors. The oak has patinated brilliantly, with a warm and antiquated finish that is sure to solicit a glance.
