French 19th Century Elm Farm Table
Dimensions: 29 1/2″H x 87″W x 31 3/8″D
A fantastic French farm table, made of solid elm in the 19th century. The thick boards that make the table’s top have beautiful graining and burl, and pegs from quaint past repairs. The top is supported by a firm, thick base. The base does not have an apron, allowing for greater clearance. Its legs and stretcher are quarter sawn and chamfered, providing restrained styling. Unlike many farmhouse tables, this antique has a top with an overhang that extends beyond its stretcher, making it possible for individuals to be seated at its ends.
