French 19th Century Empire Gueridon

A French petite tiered side table in gilt bronze and marble made in Mid-Century France. Beautiful with fluted legs and neoclassical brass accents. The removable marble tops are gorgeous white stone with gray veining. An X-stretcher connects the legs and has a centered decorative finial. This charming mahogany bedside table was crafted in 19th century France circa 1870. A breakfront pierced brass gallery surrounds the well patinated smooth wood top. Two trimmed drawers flanked by fluted corners are fixed with small starburst brass pulls and easily open. This petite table is finished on all sides, giving it the versatility to float in a room.
