French 19th Century Enfilade with Marble Top

A petite simple demilune corner cabinet will add a bit more storage space without taking up too much of your room. The top is made of worn, smooth white marble adding so much charm. The single door opens with the twist of the brass knob, inside are two fixed shelves. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax this cabinet is ready for immediate use. A gorgeous oak buffet à deux corps was hand built in the 1800’s from solid light oak. Simple in style this paneled buffet is unique and practical. The top half of the buffet is 51 ¼”D with two paneled door fronts and two interior fixed shelves measuring 13 ¼” deep.. The base is slightly deeper with three drawers and two paneled doors with a single interior fixed shelf, 12 ¼”deep. This buffet has interesting decorative pressed brass accents only found on one side. We’ve reworked the original spring locks with old forged iron keys. They are quite long and tend to sag. We recommend storing them in a drawer when not in use. 3 total keys are included with this piece. This buffett has been polished with a French paste wax and is ready for your immediate use. A classically designed transitional enfilade with expressions from the Directorie and Louis XVI Styles. Its original shaped saint anne marble top sits on top of this enfilade making for a durable serving surface. The chamford corners match the design of the cabinet. There are three paneled drawers and three paneled doors all with simple escutcheons and working locks. There are two keys present to work all the locks and should be used when opening this cabinet. Behind the doors is one fixed shelf for storage. Fluting found throughout this piece is the perfect polished detail. The whole raised on turned mahogany legs.

This unique shaped enfilade is almost 10’ long and was built in the early 1900’s in the Louis XVI Style. Its original, shaped marble top is light in color and has a pebble, circular pattern with beveled edges. The colors of the marble paired with the light yellow painted finish, make this piece extremely attractive. The end panels on this enfilade flair out making this case piece a very unique shape! There are four paneled and trimmed doors featuring oval brass escutcheons with working locks, three keys are present. The doors open with hidden hinges to ample storage space with a single fixed shelf. Fluted corners are found throughout, a nod to the Louis XVI style, the whole resets on a plinth base. Hand-crafted in the 19th century around 1850, this is a wonderful find with decorative ebony inlay trim and its original shaped marble top. The body is curved at the front with two paneled doors that open to an interior with an adjustable shelf that measures 21 ⅜” deep in the center and 28 ¾” wide. Scrolling brass shield escutcheons adorn the front and one key is present for the workable lock. The fruitwood has been polished to show off its colorful tones and patina which pair well with deep ebony inlay trim and swags. The whole sits on sturdy blocked feet. In excellent antique condition. Hand-crafted in the 19th century around 1860, this is a custom piece that was built into a corner with a beautiful removable marble top. The body is curved at the front with two paneled doors that open to an interior with a fixed shelf that measures 19 ⅝” deep in the center . One key is present for the workable lock. A gorgeous solid walnut buffet a deux corps, hand-crafted in the Restauration style, in 1870s France. The buffet is composed of two bodies: an upper and lower. The upper body is outfitted with two fixed shelves inside that measure 14 ¾” deep. The trimmed and paneled top doors contain a working lock and one large key. The lower body is slightly deeper and has an interior cavity with a single fixed shelf that measures 21 ⅛” deep. These doors are secured with a magnetic latch. Both sets of doors have wonderful inlaid diamond pattern escutcheons. The apron houses three small drawers, the center one is petite and opens with a polished brass round pull centered in a lovely cartouche. The other two drawers slide easily and open with turned and trimmed wooden pulls. This is a handsome case antique that will provide bountiful storage and beauty to any room it graces. A charming solid walnut buffet hand-crafted in France at the beginning of the reign of Louis Philippe duc d’Orléans, circa 1830. A gorgeously patinated plank top with a molded edge sits over a long shaped frieze drawer with a trimmed wooden pull and two paneled doors fixed with an oval brass escutcheon plate with beaded surround. One key is present and remains in the lock for ease of use. The two doors open to a single storage cavity with one removable shelf with a depth of 19 ⅜”. Raised on block feet this buffet is tall, sturdy, and built for longevity. Its timeless style would work well with almost any interior. A French Empire buffet hand-crafted in France in the 19th century that features fabulous mahogany burl wood and neoclassical details. The original marble top is stunning with gorgeous dramatic patterns in the stone. The apron houses two drawers featuring attractive large brass shield motif escutcheon plates. Three keys are present to open both drawers and the two bottom doors that open to reveal a removable finished shelf and ample room for storage. Two polished burl columns flank each side that feature cast brass capitals and bases showcasing repeating neoclassical patterns.This piece is supported on delightful hand-carved paw front feet and two block feet in back. A stunning Louis XVI style mahogany enfilade hand-crafted in France circa 1800’s. Its original shaped marble top is a marvelous wine color with white and charcoal veining throughout. The fantastic colors of the marble paired with the deep rich tones of the mahogany make this case piece extremely attractive. Below the marble top are three easy-to-use, paneled and trimmed drawers that feature centered cast brass rosettes surrounded by circular drop pulls with neoclassical detailing. Three large lower doors open up to ample storage space and each house a removable shelf. The top shelves measure 17-½” deep and the bottom shelves are 17” deep. All three doors have oval brass escutcheon plates and functioning locks. Three keys are present. Rounded and fluted corners are found throughout the whole which is raised on fluted turned legs with intricate neoclassical etchings in their top brass surrounds and brass capped feet.
