$5,200.0040.25"H x 79.25"W x 20.50"D
Dimensions: 40 ¼” H x 79 ¼” W x 20 ½” D
This 19th century Louis XVI style fruitwood enfilade exhibits a linear formality and rich tones across the case to anchor a dining room, living room, or foyer. Storage options within are organized as three drawers across the frieze and four cabinet doors below representing three distinct compartments. Although there appears to be four drawers across the frieze the two panels at the center are a one, wide drawer all using brass ring pull hardware. Two middle doors enclose the larger of the three cabinets, flanked on the other side of the turreted corners by smaller cabinets all using their own working locks and sharing two keys to open. Interior shelves measure approximately 16” deep. Tapering legs elevate the piece from the floor to create a sense of lightness in spite of the scale. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax this buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more. Two keys included.
French 18th Century Carved Oak Buffet à Deux Corps
$5,600.0095"H x 57.50"W x 20.38"D
Dimensions: 95” H x 57 ½” W x 20 ⅜” D
A stunning French oak buffet à deux corps (cabinet in two sections) from the 18th century, designed with features and style that suit many decorating tastes and storage needs for the modern interior. The rounded cornice softens the impressive scale and height of the case, seeming to rise on quarter-round fluted pilasters at the corners outlined in ribbon-twist carvings to frame two paneled doors. Another line of ribbon-twist carvings outline the different panels of the doors: a narrow foliate motif along the top sits over two rectangular panels given further definition by egg & dart carvings. The doors open by working lock and key to reveal an interior fitted with two shelves, 13 ¾” deep. In the base section–behind the locking doors–there is one shelf over two small drawers (like a linen press) measuring 17” deep. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax this antique storage piece is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more.
French 19th Century Provincial Walnut Buffet
40.25"H x 48.38"W x 20.38"D
Dimensions: 40 ¼” H x 48 ⅜” W x 20 ⅜” D
A 19th century walnut two-door buffet, exhibiting rustic French Provincial style which gives character to the compact storage piece. Two centuries of use has imprinted layers of textural and dark patina upon the surface of the plank top. Two small drawers occupy the frieze: the left drawer uses the included key as a pull (for a nonoperational lock) while the right drawer is mounted with a small turned wood knob. Two paneled doors enclose the case below: the left door hooks onto the interior shelf and the right door is secured by lock & key. Inside is a stationary shelf, 16 ½” deep. Carved bracket feet elevate the case from the floor. Navigating multiple design periods, the timeless style of this antique case piece would harmonize in a number of interior décor tastes. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the great patina and wonderful craftsmanship. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior. One key included.
French 19th Century Solid Oak Buffet à Deux Corps
$5,600.0099.75"H x 57.75"W x 24.75"D
Dimensions: 99 ¾” H x 57 ¾” W x 24 ¾” D
A French solid oak buffet à deux corps from the 19th century, Louis XV in style, with baroque carvings to add depth to the paneled doors, and serpentine apron that together give this large storage piece its historic character. Under the linear crown is a stylized garland carved into the frieze over a pair of doors that mirror each other’s calligraphic outline around the paneling. Each door hangs on steel barrel hinges to support the weight, and use scrolling hardware that coordinates beautifully with the vine and foliate motifs elsewhere. The doors open by working lock and (massive) key to reveal an interior that has been crudely tacked with the most charming floral printed cotton in bold red & white. Three shelves range in depth from 13 ¼”-14 ¾”. In the lower cabinet–protruding forward beyond the upper body–past a working lock and key is an interior fitted with a single shelf, 18 ⅜” deep. The same textile has been used to dress the back of the cabinet as well–see the image gallery for the immersive effect this has when all the doors are open! The sinuous lines of the swelled apron transition into carved escargot feet, another signature of the Louis XV taste for refined, yet playful touches. From its graceful curves to robust proportions and charming patina, this Louis XV armoire will bring a comforting presence to any home. It has been cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax to be ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more and the current condition. Two keys included.

$6,900.0041.25"H x 70.25"W x 19.50"D
Dimensions: 41 ¼” H x 70 ¼” W x 19 ½” D
A timeless storage piece for refined and modern tastes, this 19th century French mahogany enfilade has a more recent ebonized finish that beautifully contrasts the white marble top for a touch of drama in a foyer or dining room. The narrow case is crowned by a recent cut of rectangular marble in translucent white with pale green veining, finished to flat edges that keep the overall profile clean and linear. Note there is a small flea-bite chip along the front of the stone (see the image gallery for more information). Across the frieze are three drawers: the left and right drawers use angular bail pulls to slide open while the center drawer retains a working lock & key behind the shield escutcheon. Below, three paneled doors enclose a divided interior of one long shelf spanning the first and middle doors with a smaller cabinet behind the third door. All doors lock by their individual keys, four keys total included. Cleaned, polished, and tightened, this gorgeous antique enfilade is ready for your interior. $2,995.0031.75"H x 31.50"W x 20"D
Dimensions: 31 ¾” H x 31 ½” W x 20” D
A charming 19th century solid oak petite buffet, exhibiting French Provincial flair and creativity which gives personality to the compact storage piece. The simple plank top glows from the warm tones one would expect of antique oak, blending with patina from two centuries of use imprinted upon the surface. Most notably, there are two drawers oriented perpendicular to each other: one opening from the left side and one on the front (above the right-side cabinet door) using plain, turned knobs. Two paneled doors carved to look like archways enclose the case below: the left door hooks onto the interior shelf and the right door is secured by lock & key. Inside is a stationary shelf, 16” deep. Thick posts as feet elevate the buffet from the floor. Navigating multiple design periods, the timeless style of this antique case piece would harmonize in a number of interior décor tastes. French Vintage Painted Enfilade
$6,500.0038.63"H x 83.75"W x 20"D
Dimensions: 38 ⅝“ H x 83 ¾” W x ” D
A French, early to mid-20th century four door enfilade transformed more recently with a painted, scraped blue finish applied by hand that beautifully contrasts the linear formality of the wide case. Ethereal layers of pigment suggest Gustavian and Provincial inspiration using a lightly patinated faux finishing effect to wash the wood in a dusty shade of blue. Four paneled doors enclose the unpainted interior, secured by magnetic catches and released by a gentle pull on the understated brass knobs. Note that the center doors open in tandem for easy access to the undivided cabinet with a single shelf (17 ½” D) spanning the width for abundant storage capacity to keep a living room or dining room organized. Cleaned and tightened, this buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images.
French 19th Century Louis XVI Style Demilune Enfilade
$6,800.0039.75"H x 66.75"W x 25"D
Dimensions: 39 ¾” H x 66 ¾” W x 25” D
A statement piece for a dining room or foyer, this 19th century Louis XVI style enfilade demonstrates refined taste and luxury in any scenario. The original, white marble slab conforms to the breakfront of the demilune shape, protruding over the middle section before sloping back toward the wall, the stone traced with thin ribbons of gray veining. Two rectangular drawers in the center use elegantly curved drop handles to open; the right drawer is organized into five sections while the left drawer is undivided. Surprisingly, the curved left and right corners aren’t fixed but fully functioning drawers as well, swinging out by their ring pulls at a 45 degree angle to the case. In the main body, four doors with stunning mahogany fronts enclose the various storage compartments: quarter-round cabinets to the sides offering two small shelves each (sharing a key between them) and a wide cabinet with single shelf (20 ½” deep) behind the middle doors right sharing one key between them. Fluted pilasters transition into conical feet elevating the piece from the floor which creates a sense of lightness against the grand scale. Cleaned and tightened, polished with a French paste wax this antique buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more. Two keys included.

Dimensions: 39 ⅝” H x 80 ¼” W x 21” D
This 19th century Louis XVI style walnut enfilade is topped with an exciting slab of Verdi Alpi marble that beautifully contrasts the linear formality and rich brown tones of the case. Storage options of the large case are arranged as three drawers across the frieze and four cabinet doors below representing three distinct compartments that will keep a dining room, living room, or foyer organized. Below the wide drawer (at center) is the larger of the three cabinets, flanked on the other side of the pilaster by smaller cabinets all using their own working locks and keys to open. Interior shelves, approximately 17 ¼” deep, are adjustable on sawtooth brackets to reconfigure to your needs–wherever this dramatic storage piece finds its new home. Dimensions: 39 ¼” H x 79 ¼” W x 26 ½” D
An intriguing French walnut enfilade from the 19th century, more transitional than Neoclassical in style, blending the regal elements of Louis XVI with the warmth and patina of Provincial construction. Shaped with turreted corners the smooth planks of the top are arranged in a breadboard formation on the short sides highlighting the beauty of the grain and the front edge uses two planks intersecting with an angular splice. Within the frieze sit three drawers: the left and right drawers open with bail handles, whereas the middle drawer retains a working lock & key above the handle. Note the right drawer is conveniently divided into smaller sections. Below the drawers are three paneled doors separated by a pair of fluted “pilasters” enclosing a divided cabinet each with one shelf, approximately 20 ½” deep. All doors have working locks and keys, with the left & center doors paired to enclose one cabinet and the right door represents a smaller compartment. The doors have a wonderful surprise when open as they have been covered in a preppy green fabric outlined in gold tape trim! French 19th Century Grand Ebonized Bibliotheque
$14,500.00113"H x 62"W x 27"D
Dimensions: 113” H x 62” W x 27”D
This French bibliotheque from the 19th century makes a dramatic statement for any interior with its height alone, and the ebonized finish on the exterior gives it the presence to anchor any kitchen, dining room, library, or office. Below an understated cornice, the soaring glass-front doors over the bookcase retain their original panes, providing visibility to regard the contents on four shelves, 15” deep. To contrast to the ebonized shelves, the panels on the back and sides are left their natural oak color allowing the warm glow of the wood to further illuminate the interior. The lower body–protruding slightly beyond the shelves like a “buffet a deux corps”–offers a pair of locking drawers and a paneled cabinet for (less visible) storage and organization, including a shelf, 21 ⅞” deep adjustable on sawtooth brackets. Cleaned, tightened and polished, this monumental storage piece is ready to astound in your interior. Please view the detailed images to see more. Two keys included.
French Mid Century Modern Sideboard
$5,600.0031.38"H x 86.63"W x 17.75"D
Dimensions: 31 ⅜” H x 86 ⅝” W x 17 ¾” D
French Mid-century Modern (circa 1960) walnut sideboard of undeniable Scandinavian-Danish inspiration, to offer practical and attractive storage in a dining or living room. The rectangular case is separated into three storage options: each sliding door represents a compartment, with a stack of four drawers to the right. Note that holes are drilled for pegs to support a shelf inside the compartments, however the original shelves are not present. The top drawer retains the original red felt lining to cushion serving pieces if using a sideboard or buffet in a dining room. Another drawer has been adapted by cutting a small opening in the bottom (perhaps for a cable or cord). Hand-carved finger pulls on the drawers are sleek and sculptural, like the inset handles of the doors which balance the modern qualities of the design with organic references. Inside the left cabinet is the original sticker of “NF Ameublement” to indicate its mark of quality that is still apparent and endures sixty-plus years later. This beautiful case piece has been cleaned, tightened and polished with a French paste wax to last for generations to come. Please view the detailed images.

The beige marble slab conforms to the breakfront that hangs over the middle section before sloping back toward the wall, the stone traced with abstract veining of gray ribbons. Note that there is a break on the rear left corner, see the image gallery for more information. Three rectangular drawers in the center are lined in felt material with various folds and slots to organize a collection of silverware. They are separated by gilt bronze appliques of foliate design over fluted pilasters in between the lower cabinet doors and all drawers use gilt bronze laurel wreath ring pulls. Surprisingly, the curved left and right corners aren’t fixed but fully functioning drawers as well, sliding out at a 45 degree angle to the case. In the main body, five doors with stunning bookmatched mahogany veneer enclose the various storage compartments: quarter-round cabinets to the sides offering two shelves each, a wide cabinet behind the left and middle doors with two shelves, and narrow cabinet to the right with one shelf. French 19th Century Burled Maple & Marble Top Buffet
$6,200.0041.13"H x 58.88"W x 19.63"D
Dimensions: 41 ⅛” H x 58 ⅞” W x 19 ⅝” D
A stunning, late 19th century French buffet in a variety of exotic materials that radiates sophistication and unabashed luxury in a dining room or other living space. The top surface of brecciated marble features patches of gray and taupe stone surrounded by ribbons of white and orange veining, finished with a bowed front in the center that conforms to the slight projection of the storage case below. Burled maple veneer wrapping the storage case exhibits uniquely figured patterns of tightly swirled grain and dense accumulation of “eyes” in a glorious shade of honey-gold. Ebonized inlay in thin pinstripes creates definition on the two drawer front and two doors, with a geometric inlay using mahogany applied to the curved panel at center. Neoclassical ormolu appliques in floral motif armor the front corners, matching the swagged drawer handles and ornate escutcheons over the doors. Both doors retain working locks to enclose the undivided cabinet offering a long, fixed shelf, 15 ¾” deep. Conical feet nod to modernity without the expected fluting, raising the piece from the floor. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with French paste wax this fascinating antique buffet is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition as there are a few scratches in the stone and areas of separation in the wood.
French 19th Century Empire Buffet in Recent Paint
$6,500.0042.25"H x 61"W x 25"D
Dimensions: 42 ¼” H x 61” W x 25” D
A very unique French Empire 19th century buffet, or desserte server, in demilune profile and more recent painted finish of uncertain age. The top surface is a handpainted faux marble that is nearly all black except for delicate wisps of smoky gray veining. In the frieze are three drawers: one in each corner that swings outward at an angle, and one wide drawer in the center, all using lion-motif ring pulls. The case is washed in an ethereal tone of French gray with matte texture and mottled variation blending streaks of white, gray, and blue pigment that might easily blend with Directoire or Gustavian tastes more than the opulence of Empire. Carved wood caryatids in ebonized (painted) effect flank the pair of doors at center, which open in tandem by working lock and key. Inside the case are two shelves at different depths that could be perfect to use this case piece as a dry bar or dining room storage. The caryatids terminate at the floor as robust, pawed feet, while the ebonized pilasters toward the back are undecorated. Please view the detailed images to see more of this inspired buffet.

A shallow drawer across the top spans the width of the piece, using brass bail pulls and an ornate escutcheon over the working lock (one key is present to share with the doors). In the case below, the two cabinet doors exhibit fine grain patterns and lustre, framed with a tiny pinstripe of ebonized marquetry. The doors lock in tandem from the right side–with the left door hooking to the shelf for added security, both sporting the same escutcheons as above, using the key as a pull.
