A nifty, 19th century piano stool made in France with adjustable height. The top cushion is upholstered in a weathered, cut-velvet of chevron design in autumnal tones that complements the dark oak base, traced in brass nailheads to accentuate the circumference between the seat and the wood frame. The center column of the stool has a hidden steel screw press used to raise and lower the seat height, making this a versatile antique for modern times.
