French 19th Century Painted Louis Philippe Buffet A’Deux Corps
Dimensions: 110″H (9′-2″) x 55″W x 19 1/2″D
This beautiful 19th century French Louis Philippe buffet a’deux corps has been recently painted a lovely white with distressing that makes the paint appear to be as old as the antique itself. The upper body has two large, glass front doors that retain their original hand rolled glass panes. These doors have working locks, safeguarding the upper cavity, which is outfitted with three adjustable shelves. The lower body has two drawers set above two doors. The drawers have styled drop ring pulls and are not lockable. The two doors they surmount are lockable and conceal a storage cavity that contains a single fixed shelf. c.1880.
