A massive bibliotheque from 19th century France made in the style of Louis Philippe, circa 1830! Constructed from warm toned solid oak. Seemingly simple at first glance, sophisticated details can be found throughout. Original to the piece, four large panes of wavy glass windows reveal the interior. Two separate sections with three adjustable shelves make up the interior display space, each with a touch of thumbnail carving. Two keys are included in brass crest shaped escutcheons. A thin inlay of darker wood borders the antique glass and beautifully accents the design on the lower panels of the door.
