French 19th Century Walnut & Mahogany Restauration Console
Dimensions: 34″H x 26″W x 15 3/8″D
A petite mahogany and walnut console from the Restauration period in early 19th century France. The table is topped in a lovely piece of black fossil marble that has rounded front corners to match the base. The apron has a single drawer with brass ormolu in the form of a winged cherub. Two curved console legs support the front of the console, with linear rear legs supporting the rear and ensuring a snug fit against a wall. The styled front legs terminate in carved paw feet that rest atop the concave plinth base. An excellent console for an entryway or foyer.
