French Early-20th Century Directoire-Style Fruitwood Writing Table
Dimensions: 29-5/8″H x 36-3/4″W x 23-5/8″D
This elegant Directoire-style writing table, was made in France circa early-1900’s, of pegged construction. The writing surface is covered in a gilt-tooled amber leather which exhibits a warm patina consistent with age and use. The apron is fitted with a single drawer having a bronze ring-form pull. The whole raised on slender tapering legs and resting on bronze feet.
