Handmade from oak, the upper planks are arranged in a breadboard with perpendicular boards framing the short sides, in lovely grain patterns and color blending with dark patina from time & use. Belgian Vintage Cast Bronze & Glass Coffee Table
$4,500.0017.13"H x 49.50"W x 29.75"D
Dimensions: 17 ⅛” H x 49 ½” W x 29 ¾” D
A massive, solid bronze coffee table in the manner of Belgian designer Peter van Heeck to make an architectural statement in any living room. Cast in solid bronze that glows like brass with stepped, paneled motifs recalling Art Deco geometry, the skill of the foundry is on full display and, if taken as a work of metal sculpture, it could suit a Brutalist aesthetic as well. An inset clear glass top offers lightness and transparency against the visual mass of the (textured bronze) legs and apron. Stylistically the coffee/cocktail table harmonizes with a range of eclectic interiors ranging from the Mid-century to more maximalist. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition as the metal shows areas of green verdigris, general patina and light scratches in the glass top.
English 19th Century Pine & Beech Low Table
$4,200.0020.88"H x 59"W x 30.75"D
Dimensions: 20 ⅞” H x 59” W x 30 ¾” D
English 19th century farmhouse (dining) table, recently adapted for use as a coffee table to recontextualize the familiarity of a rustic farm table, placing that sense of warmth & welcome in a living area. Handmade from pine and beech, the planks of the top have been scrubbed smooth to reveal pale yellow grain in gentle patterns and texture. The frame is stained in a medium-brown walnut tone for slight contrast, dotted with the heads of square peg joinery that confirms the age. Within the apron is a rather wide drawer for convenient but out of sight storage, opened by a small turned knob. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique occasional table is ready for its new home. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition.

French 20th Century Louis XVI Style Oval Coffee Table
$2,995.0019.88"H x 43.50"W x 27.75"D
Dimensions: 19 ⅞” H x 43 ½” W x 27 ¾” D
A French, 20th century Louis XVI-style oval form coffee table with the design features of bouillotte tables–the type made for playing the popular card game–given a very chic update in an ebonized finish that makes the brass accents pop. This example uses a white marble surface, inset and surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. The clean, oval shape is interrupted by slightly lobed protrusions where the four legs are joined to the apron, armored with reeded brass panels. Like the card table, this example features two storage drawers in the long sides of the apron and a hidden leaf in each end that slides out to offer a small, leather-top panel to set a drink or hand of cards. Slender, tapering legs end in brass sabot feet at the floor. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition as the marble shows etched areas of wear and scratches in the surface.
French Vintage Mahogany Louis XVI Style Low Gueridon
20.38"H x 24.13"W x 24.13"D
Dimensions: 20 ⅜” H x 24 ⅛” W x 24 ⅛” D
A Louis XVI style mahogany low table/gueridon, dating to the mid-20th century, complemented by a white marble top (professionally repaired) surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. This timeless table design matches earlier bouillotte tables–made for playing cards–scaling the proportions down to coffee table size to fit a living room arrangement. There are two small drawers tucked in the apron, with two small leaves inset with taupe leather effect that emerge to hold a drink or hand of playing cards. Fluted legs, a signature Louis XVI design, taper to the floor ending in brass sabot feet. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax, this vintage occasional table is ready for your interior. Please view the detailed images to see the current condition as the marble shows evidence of a previous break which has left a thin white vein along the seam.
French Vintage Coffee Table in the Manner of Guy Lefèvre
$3,600.0014.50"H x 49.63"W x 26"D
Dimensions: 14 ½” H x 49 ⅝” W x 26” D
This sleek rectangular coffee table was produced by the legendary firm of Maison Jansen in the 1970s, part of a larger collected designed by Guy Lefèvre, reflecting a new gilded age of French design after the war built on the Moderne tradition with the glamour of Hollywood Regency. Two tiers of smoke glass trays are supported by a linear, steel frame in a (patinated) dark chrome finish with Greek Key geometry at the corners to be attractive and accessible from every side of one’s seating arrangement. These swathes of glass offer generous surface area–with full visibility–for display as well as to rest one’s coffee/cocktail. Sure to be a très chic focal point for any living room, a timeless style to suit a range of aesthetics from transitional to modern to more eclectic–ready to join your interior. Note the table has been gently cleaned, although multiple scratches remain in the glass and dark oxidation of the metal consistent with age and use.
