This charming 16 piece Old Paris service will elevate your dining experience to the next level. Vibrant green rings and initials “KL” are accented with gold. On the back of each plate is the maker’s initials and location are marked in red cursive- “CH, Hebert Rue Des Carmes, N 91 Rouen”. This set includes 14 diner plates and 2 serving pedestal plates. We just love the scalloped edges. There is some wearing down of the gold but as a whole they are in wonderful antique condition. A striking collection of fourteen (14) vintage plates from Badonviller, France, dating from the early-to-mid 20th century. Note there are two sizes: (6) dinner plates and (8) salad plates featuring bold, red rims decorated with a silhouetted vining floral pattern that wraps the circumference. One salad plate differs slightly in its floral design from the rest, which is nearly imperceptible in the group. Condition as expected from time and use with small flea bite chips. French 19th Century Ironstone Oval Tureen

A gorgeous 19th century white ironstone tureen from France, complete with the original fitted lid to the oval form, this is a classic serving piece for any kitchen. The charming design incorporates an artichoke finial with delicate leaf transitioning into the dome of the lid. This foliate motif is repeated in the handles whose decorative, Neoclassical flourishes complement the heft of the weighty vessel. The milk-white finish is mostly clear with only a few freckles concentrated to the interior; apart from a few “flea bites” (to be expected with age and use) there are no apparent chips, cracks, or crazing in the ceramic. A pair of French Empire period Old Paris Porcelain vases, circa 1810, with painted landscapes and figural scenes on each side. The Classical amphora profile features a gold-banded mouth at the top, transitioning to the narrow neck and tapering body framed by a pair of handles with low-relief caryatid faces in place of the openings, lifted by square bases all accented in gold gilt trim. The landscape imagery–coordinating but not identical–is of a lush and tranquil environment in an earth tone palette. On the reverse side of each vase are a pair of figures, again that are unique but similar, locked in what appears to be a tense exchange.
