A shaped white marble top with subtle veining sits atop a painted and gilt base with a shaped and trimmed apron featuring intricately carved half shell motifs resting in acanthus leaves and flanked by scrolls, florals and more acanthus on the corners and sides. Raised on slender curved and tapered legs joined by a shaped lower shelf that provides additional storage space and stability. An elegant 19th century French etagere hand-crafted in Burgundy circa 1870. Built of fine walnut, this square table stands on finely turned and fluted baluster legs ending with arrow feet. Connected at the base are two cane shelves over a straight plain apron with a hidden drawer. The surface is dressed with an inset black marble top with interesting patterns across. This etagere is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and has a beautiful color and gorgeous patina. This superb antique chopping block cabinet was hand-crafted in France circa 1850. Wonderfully worn with much time and use, the cut marks from bygone chefs on the thick block top are a prominent feature. Well constructed this cabinet exhibits peg and dovetail joinery that will provide lasting stability for many more years of use. Below the chopping block is a single drawer with a simply turned pull for ease of access to a divided storage space perfect for utensils. A large open shelf lies beneath the drawer for yet more storage. Hand-carved legs with a slight splay provide a level foundation- a necessity when in the kitchen. A chic English decoupage bamboo table in the Aesthetic Movement style of the late 19th century. This piece features a speckled bamboo frame supporting two tiers of beautifully decoupaged shelves showcasing gilded butterflies and moths surrounded by a neoclassical border with dentil molding. A fantastic large rustic French late 19th century work table. Hand-crafted in France circa 1880 of solid oak featuring clean sharp lines, great height and a beautifully aged patina. Full of character and charm that only comes with time. The oak has a lovely warm tone and the wonderful wood grain patterns show throughout. The 1 ¼” thick rectangular plank top is supported by a smooth apron that rests on six wide square legs that are conjoined by an H stretcher. A handsome English circa 1880 coaching table. Hand-crafted in 19th century England of solid mahogany, this table stands on shaped X-form legs that feature three turned baluster stretchers and two straight carved diagonal stretchers that provide excellent support. The table folds for easy transport and has its original hinges and connecting block. The table has acquired a beautiful deep brown tone and a good natural patina that has been enhanced by a French paste wax polish. An elegant and refined Louis XVI style game table from 19th Century France. This outstanding antique table can serve multiple roles. It could be used as a console, center or occasional table, but one of the many things that makes this table special is its ability to convert into a felt-topped game table. The shaped and impeccably inlaid top is hinged and will unfold to double in size and reveal a green felt playing surface, ideal for cards, dominoes and other games. When opened, the table has dimensions: 29 ½” H x 39 ¼” W x 42 ½” D. The table’s drawer opens to provide support for the top when laid open. When closed, it can be locked using the one key present. The table’s top features inlaid brass and mother of pearl in a variety of motifs including birds, filigree, floral and foliate splays and flourishes and has been modified over time. The turned and tapered and fluted legs are ornamented with gilt brass and joined by a curved stretcher with decorative gilt brass urn finial.
