This painting incorporates a wonderful use of color paired with beautiful brushwork and interesting reflections in the glass. Set in the original hand-carved frame which displays the original gold gilt finish as well as some french red peeking through and gesso around the interior. The artist has marked the work with a large signature found in the top right corner. The canvas has been mended a few times on the back and a small notch is visible on the front surface.
