Pair of French 19th Century Tall Gold Gilt Altar Torcheres

Stunning pair of  large gold gilt altar candlesticks from a church in the Bordeaux Region of France. Original finish is now wonderfully distressed, retaining much of it’s gold gilt on the front sides, backside has always been unfinished. All hand carved candlesticks are resting on a trefoil base. 1850s or earlier
