Items are available for pickup Mon - Sat 10am - 5pm. Or by appointment. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to have your items ready for pickup. If you want to pick up your merchandise, please select this option at the time of purchase as local or state sales tax may apply. It is also recommended to contact our showroom to confirm its availability and readiness for pickup, especially for larger items.DELIVERY
Delivery is limited to the Greater Baton Rouge and surrounding areas in the state of Louisiana. For specific delivery information, please contact our showroom at 225.752.9565. Delivery prices may vary and there are geographical limits to where our trucks can deliver, so it is important to clarify this before proceeding.SHIPPING

- After we receive this information, we will reach out to one of our trusted shippers that serve your area and provide you with quotes and the shipper's contact information. You can then choose to use this shipper or select one of your own. Fireside Antiques does not receive any compensation from shippers, and each shipper is required to insure and take full responsibility for your merchandise after picking it up from our premises. Shipping is paid directly from the client to the shipper.
- Once you have chosen a shipper, we will then coordinate with your chosen shipper for pickup at our premises. After the item is picked up, the best source of information about the actual delivery of your merchandise will be your selected shipper.
RETURNS

A stunning 18th century iron lectern from France. This would have been used on the altar to display a large bible during mass for the priest to read from. This is an instant conversation starter in any space because of its great height at over seven feet tall and beautiful details! Topped with a pointed cross, accented in gold and scrolling details, the display has the ability to turn 360 degrees. At each side is an adjustable candle holder in working condition. Gilt details from centuries past cling to the worn iron, adding to the exceptional patina. The scrolling base is ornamented with hammered acanthus leaves. A sturdy wooden tripodal base with thumbnail carving supports the lectern. Metal casters make this a movable piece; perfect to be placed in the center of a room to be enjoyed by all angles. French Pair of 19th Century Altar Torches

This delightful pair of French 19th century altar torches are made from sturdy wood and metal. Raised gilt brass ornamentation of cherubs and the initials IHS, which stands for Jesus, grace the top of the torches. At one time these would have been lit by fire, today they have been rewired for the US using UL listed parts. Reeded column forms attach to the wooden post above a metal bracket that fix the torches to a wall for stability. The wooden post has a great red tone that contrasts nicely with the brass on top. This early 19th century Italian altar is made of worn painted wood and worn fabric details. This is a highly decorative altar for the unknown Catholic saint carved in the center; designated by his upward pointing finger, wings, and attachment where a halo used to sit above his head. This is an incredibly unique pair of incense torches from Italy that have recently been fitted with new metal bases so they may stand-up alone. Made of painted metal and wood that’s been worn away with time and use, the distress gives it the perfect authentic antiquated look. The highly decorative top also includes metal shaped flowers and features a pierced design around the top. Although delicate, both torches unlatch to reveal where the incense was secured during use in a church or procession. C. 1800 or much earlier. The torches differ slightly in height, one is 60 ¾”H, the other 58 ⅝”H
French 19th Century Rush Seat Prie Dieu
