The door fronts have the most remarkable designs depicting overflowing scrolling baskets of flowers. The interior painted black shelves in the top measure 13-¾”deep. Originally made popular during Paris’ Belle Époque, marble bistro tables such as this one, continue to be used in restaurants and bistros throughout France and other parts of Europe. This solid marble top and iron base table was constructed in the same manner as the originals, over 100 years ago. Features an antiqued, seamless brass band which encompasses the rim of the marble. The three foot base features the same detail taken from an original early 20th century French bistro table. The marble is securely fixed to the table using heavy duty steel prongs used under the table top to hold the marble to the base. Assembly is required. Suitable for use indoors or out. If used outside, tarnishing may occur to the brass band.

    A gorgeous demilune enfilade crafted in France during the 1880s. This piece is all about the Empirically styled details and distinctive burl veneer. The original stunning marble top is shaped to fit the base. The apron houses four drawers with swan and floral drop ring pulls. Each drawer is lined with green felt and the two center drawers feature permanent organization that’s perfect for serving utensils. All of the lower doors unlock to reveal a removable, finished shelf. The burled mahogany veneer has been repaired in some places, adding to its antique charm without taking away from the quality of the whole. Decorative brass caped feet provide continued protection and are quite unique. Make sure to view all of the images to get a closer look at the wonderful details throughout this case piece. Two keys are present, we recommend keeping the center door key inside that lock as the pin tends to sag and could be difficult to connect once the key has been taken out.

    This stunning armoire de mariage was crafted in France during the 1800s from richly toned solid oak. The ornately carved motifs represent the wishes of wealth and prosperity for the new couple. The cornice has an impressively carved woven basket overflowing with flowers and pomegranates that serves as the nest for a pair of doves meant to represent the new couple. Swirling acanthus leaves with flowers flank the basket beautifully and are meant to represent fertility. The top of the wonderfully paneled doors display well carved grapes on the vine to represent abundance. Each of the doors center is carved with gardening motifs meant to represent wealth: the left showcases a lush basket of fruit, flowers, and wheat while the right has a watering can, ladder, sickle, and shovel. This piece is a fantastic example of the traditional gift from the bride’s parents. Large steel barrel hinges support the hefty doors. A sizable key unlocks the doors to reveal a storage space with 3 adjustable shelves- one being the top for a drawer.     This wonderful walnut secrétaire à abattant was constructed in the style of Louis XVI during the 19th century. Topped with a great piece of black and white marble. A single, slim drawer at the top features a pair of brass rectangular drop ring pulls and a simple brass inset keyhole that matches the lower three drawers. The front of the desk opens to reveal the writing surface and interior storage. The interior is outfitted with four small drawers flanking a large center pigeon hole above a longer drawer. The black leather writing surface is in wonderful antique condition. All four corners feature fluting. The lower storage area houses a single shelf. Three keys are included for all functioning locks. The vibrant patina and uncluttered design makes this a versatile piece to compliment any living space. Cleaned and polished with French wax paste. A Chapeau de Gendarme cornice tops two doors with shapely carved panels creating a gorgeous façade with style-matching, recessed panels. They are hung on large steel barrel hinges with a Greek Key styled escutcheon plate and close before a massive storage space with two adjustable shelves that measure 21-¾” deep. The sinuous lines of the scalloped apron continue to the antique’s carved escargot feet in classic Louis XV-style. A single key works the lock on the door and acts as the pull.
