    A French Directorie period petite settee is in wonderful antique condition. Hand carved and built in the early 1800’s, this settee is sturdy and is sure to bring a lot of character to your space. The carved wood frame boosts its original worn paint finish. Worn cut velvet upholstery adds patina and warmth and is surrounded with nailhead trim. The plush seat cushion is removable.     A classically designed transitional enfilade with expressions from the Directorie and Louis XVI Styles. Its original shaped saint anne marble top sits on top of this enfilade making for a durable serving surface. The chamford corners match the design of the cabinet. There are three paneled drawers and three paneled doors all with simple escutcheons and working locks. There are two keys present to work all the locks and should be used when opening this cabinet. Behind the doors is one fixed shelf for storage. Fluting found throughout this piece is the perfect polished detail. The whole raised on turned mahogany legs.

  • French Directoire Fruitwood Corner Cabinet with Inlay

    A French solid fruitwood corner cabinet that will add a bit more storage space without taking up too much room. Hand-crafted in the 19th century around 1850, this is a wonderful find with decorative ebony inlay trim and its original shaped marble top. The body is curved at the front with two paneled doors that open to an interior with an adjustable shelf that measures 21 ⅜” deep in the center and 28 ¾” wide. Scrolling brass shield escutcheons adorn the front and one key is present for the workable lock. The fruitwood has been polished to show off its colorful tones and patina which pair well with deep ebony inlay trim and swags. The whole sits on sturdy blocked feet. In excellent antique condition. Hand-crafted in France circa 1810 this commode features three molded drawers with burl walnut panels flanked by canted corners. Each drawer is decorated with impressive, angular drop bail handles and have scrolling shield shaped brass escutcheon plates surrounding the key holes. Raised on elegant tapered legs, this is an incredibly beautiful commode because of its overall straight lines, as well as its proportions and color.     A wonderful Directoire style extending dining room table from France, circa 1900. Crafted with vibrant fruitwood with an incredible thin inlay within the top. The table extends to 119-¼”W and supported with a hidden pair of legs that drop down. The four main legs are surmounted by inlaid joinery dies and taper down to brass capped feet. All four lower paneled doors showcase an intricately carved perimeter and floral escutcheon. All storage cavities support a single removable shelf. The center compartment houses two lengthy drawers.
