A dramatic 19th century Italian console table with an exquisite rococo giltwood base supporting its original, thick slab of Bardiglio marble. Evidence of time & use include scratching and small edge chips–see the image gallery for more details. Across the apron are scrolling, acanthus designs in low-relief giltwood over the ivory-painted background anchored at the center by a scallop shell.
