An impressive pair of French Os de Mouton armchairs with wonderfully carved details hand-crafted in France in the 19th century. These large armchairs are very comfortable and covered with new green velvet upholstery, thoughtful grosgrain trim, and decorous, three dimensional square nailheads. Smooth, shaped and hand-carved arms contain floral and foliate motifs and follow down to sinuous scalloped front rails and stretchers. The wood grain on these regal chairs is incredible and gleams under a fresh polish. This stately yet petite stool is the perfect antique to add interest to any space. Upholstered with brown, olive, and teal striped velvet in excellent, used condition and held with round brass rivets. The heavy solid walnut frame showcases hand-carved elements throughout. The well turned Louis XIII style legs are very attractive and finish on polished bun feet. At the center is a gorgeous hand carved stretcher that provides excellent support. Cleaned and polished with French paste wax that enhances the rich patina and makes the warm walnut wood grain really stand out. A gorgeous solid oak enfilade in the style of Louis XIII. The hardwood has gained a fantastic patina. The apron houses three drawers with deep paneling and worn metal pulls with floral styling. Three doors feature beautiful gem cut panels with iron escutcheon plates and functioning locks, 3 keys are included. Behind the doors is a single storage cavity with two adjustable shelves. Each finished shelf is seamlessly cut into three equal sections so you can customize the organization to your liking. The shelves are 17-⅝” deep. The whole is raised on turned, bun feet.
