Its original shaped and beveled marble top has wonderful coloring throughout and is removable for transport. The painted and gilt base has a scalloped and carved apron featuring floral and shell motifs and flanked by scrolls and more foliage on the corners and sides. Cabriole legs elegantly end with escargot feet and are connected with a curved X shaped stretcher topped with a shell finial. A fantastic and regal French Louis XV style painted fauteuil recently upholstered. The painted gold frames have been carved with exquisite craftsmanship and feature intricate cross hatch designs, florals, rosettes, acanthus leaves and vining. The upholstery is plush deep orange velvet with gold trim held securely in place all around with well patinated brass nailheads. Classically French in design and very comfortable. An early 19th century French Louis XV style gold giltwood 3-piece parlor salon suite. This lovely set includes a settee and two armchairs. All pieces feature vintage moire silk upholstery in a stunning pattern with florals and stripes, ribbon trim, scrollwork on intricately carved frames, patinated gold gilt finish, curving lines, shaped legs, and quality French craftsmanship. A pair of 18th century Louis XV style oak frame chairs. Upholstered with burgundy velvet fabric, the seat height is 16 ¾” without the cushion and 19 ⅛” with the cushion. The caning is in overall great condition, stained to match the rich oak. There is a repair on one of the seats in the caning. Flower carvings on the shaped back beautifully match those on the skirt and legs and there are wonderful paw carvings on the padded arms. This French 18th century armoire in the Louis XV style has a fantastic dark oak finish and gorgeous hand carved details. A shaped cornice sits above elaborately paneled doors on long steel barrel hinges. This piece retains its original locking systems and one key. The doors unlock to reveal a large storage cavity with three natural oak finish adjustable shelves that measure 20 ⅜” deep. This incredible storage piece is highly decorative with multi panels, molded edges, elaborate scroll trim and hand-carved shell and starfish accents. A 19th century French solid oak side table in a dark finish with a triangular shaped top, shaped apron, and tapering legs that end in delightful hoof feet. The polished top has a molded and trimmed edge and is well patinated with deep grooves and knots in the attractive oak wood grain. The apron is scalloped with thick trim which pairs well with three elegant hand-carved legs. The table is light and easy to move around, very sturdy, and in a condition with wear consistent with age and use. A charming and quite comfortable French 18th Century Louis XV period side chair with original tapestry. A camel hump top rail follows down to a shaped seat above a channel carved walnut scalloped apron ending in cabriole legs and scrolled feet. Upholstered in the original tapestry fabric featuring a lush pastoral scene in earth colors affixed with round patinated brass nailheads. The cushion and backrest are both still amply padded and comfortable after well over 200 years of use! Sturdy and original with classic French style, this wonderful antique chair is a fantastic find. A fabulous shaped skirt and cabriole legs make this 20th century French stripped and painted commode a standout. This recently painted case piece incorporates elements of both Louis XV and Regence styles. The shaped top with a curvy molded edge is atop three large bowed and shaped panel drawers with crested escutcheon plates and painted metal drop pulls with floral motifs. Three keys, also with a painted finish, are present and rest inside three working locks. The lovely molding follows down to four curving cabriole legs connected by a shaped hand-carved skirt. A charming set of six French oak ladder back chairs made in the 1940s. A beautiful carved shell cartouche graces the chairs’ top and front rails. The rush seats are in excellent antique condition and have a height of 18 1/2″. The seats are removable. The slight cabriole legs are joined by a turned stretcher below and terminate in carved escargot feet. A unique Louis XVperiod, circa 1750, carved oak presentation buffet in wonderful antique condition. The front doors showcase carved embellishments and decorative escutcheons. The left hand side doors interior latch is quite impressive and the top lock is functional. Four removable shelves are housed within the top. The apron houses a large paneled drawer that contains a permanent partition down the center. The lower doors’ lock no longer functions, but is held closed with a magnetic clasp and forged iron latch that mirrors the one within the top. The whole sits flush to the ground on a plinth base. A wonderfully carved style solid fruitwood confiture or jelly cabinet is circa 1800. The small cabinet is outfitted with a single drawer and a single door. The top drawer has a cast brass drop-ring pull. The door has a working lock, brass escutcheon, and is hung on barrel hinges. The door is styled with a carved panel, reflecting its Louis XV design. It closes before an interior that is complete with a single removable shelf. The confiture’s skirt is shaped, with curves that continue into its shaped feet. A Chapeau de Gendarme cornice tops two doors with shapely carved panels creating a gorgeous façade with style-matching, recessed panels. They are hung on large steel barrel hinges with a Greek Key styled escutcheon plate and close before a massive storage space with two adjustable shelves that measure 21-¾” deep. The sinuous lines of the scalloped apron continue to the antique’s carved escargot feet in classic Louis XV-style. A single key works the lock on the door and acts as the pull. A fantastic little Louis XV style bedside table. Topped with an inset piece of marble that has undergone some minor repairs, its got a shaped edge. The apron houses a slim drawer with a shaped panel and turned nob. The paneled door houses an interior space fit with white enamel as it would have been intended to store a chamber pot.
