Vintage Set of Four Glass Wall Sconces

Fabulous set of four wall sconces in the manner of Helena Tynell for Glashütte Limburg (Germany) circa 1970 or late 1960s. Each fixture uses an amber glass diffuser formed into a brick-shape, obscured by bubbles on the surface that have an abstract scallop shell pattern to give texture to the light. Black metal backplates are fitted with sockets for standard-base light bulbs. Found in France, the fixtures have been professionally cleaned and rewired for US electrical using UL-listed parts. The heavy glass serving piece uses an elegant spout for pouring, balanced by a solid handle with gorgeous contour, connecting the vessel decorated with an etched design of stripes and ovals.
