French Mid-Century Modern Framed Architectural Rendering
$950.0023"H x 31.63"W x 0.63"D
Dimensions: 23” H x 31 ⅝” W x ⅝” D
French vintage (circa 1980) hand-drawn and colored rendering of a proposed cultural center with pedestrian plaza. The modern/postmodern style is a visually exciting series of architectural volumes, activated by the passersby in period-appropriate dress that makes the milieu come alive. Newly reframed in complementary gilt molding with fluted texture to match the number of parallel lines that shape the architectural details. Some yellowing and foxing of the paper, otherwise we believe this to be in good antique condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos. Belgian Vintage Portrait Painting by Delescluze
$2,995.0026.75"H x 22.75"W x 2.13"D
Dimensions: 26 ¾” H x 22 ¾” W x 2 ⅛” D
A vintage portrait by Belgian artist Edmond Delescluze (1905-1993). The subject is a young woman with fair hair and skin, her classic Flemish profile set off by a red hat decorated with ostrich feathers and a gaze concentrated toward the left of the scene. Behind her is a surreal landscape of pastel blue, pink, and yellow perhaps the waning hours of daylight. Around her is wrapped a diaphanous pink shawl exposing a gold necklace with a locket, which must have some importance considering the level of detail applied. French Vintage Portrait Painting Signed Combrisson
$2,995.0022.50"H x 19.13"W x 2.13"D
Dimensions: 22 ½” H x 19 ⅛” W x 2 ⅛” D
Vintage (late 20th century) portrait on canvas by French artist Guy Combrisson (1905-1991). The subject is a woman of a certain age and means, wearing a rather fancy blue dress (including the dark ruffle of a boutonniere at the neckline) who poses for the artist in front of a mirror. This perspective creates an intriguing reflection of her back and the easel but not the artist himself behind the canvas, which shows the remarkable talent of the artist as he presents not only a view of the lady’s public persona but one that also explores themes of vulnerability. Recently framed in natural oak molding that complements the palette. Signed by the artist to the lower left. Please view the detailed images to see more.

She stops her correspondence to indulge the artist by sitting for this portrait, her left hand (note the red fingernails matching the red of her lips) holding a book. Her right arm rests on the manchette of the chair, as her fingers delicately touch the cheek. Recently framed in natural oak molding that complements the palette.
