The oval shape of the plate is in an elongated, east-west orientation with serpentine rim echoing the organic, scrolling motif.     French, 19th century or earlier, repoussé (embossed) pewter charger plate with heraldic coat of arms in the center. Framed by a plate rim of heart-ray design is the high-relief crest of an unknown family, with central escutcheon featuring two quadrants of fleur-de-lis topped by a helmet. Rococo scrollwork occupies much of the background, intersected by two spears at 11 and 1 o’clock. No visible hallmark; looped with a small wire for hanging on the wall.     Pair of mesmerizing 19th century Italian painted and giltwood console tables in the rococo style with faux marble tops. Expertly painted, the trompe l’oeil surface captures the exuberant vein patterns of bookmatched onyx or marble, rendered in translucent gold to amber hues with ribbons of white, finished on the edge in a jade green. Below, the swelled apron of the table frame is ornately carved in typical acanthus leaves and fan motif, bathed in gold for a lovely contrast to the dark taupe paint.     An Italian tôle lantern from the 18th century with gilded, rococo motifs on dark metal housing. Crowned with a gilded finial to symbolize a burning flame, the theme continues down the patinated roof of the lantern as palmette garlands. The elliptical glass windows are highlighted by gilding, and the interior also reflects a golden aura to disperse the light of a single bulb. While the modern convenience of electricity might have displaced lanterns like these, the enchanting design leaves an impression anywhere around the home.     This Dutch Rococo style three-seat-back settee is a wonderful addition to any interior. Crafted during the 19th century with high quality, ornate marquetry work. The top of each seat back showcases a crowned lion in the standing “rampant” position. Floral designs cover every part of the frame, including the back; giving it the ability to float in any space. The upholstered, striped fabric is fixed to a removable cushion that remains moderately comfortable. The apron is shaped according to the seat cushion and has a scalloped edge.
