Viz Design. These down filled pillows make a statement with a 17th Century tapestry fragment depicting flowers and fruits, framed with a 19th Century linen and silver metallic galon on taupe velvet.   • French 20th Century Floral Chandelier

    A vintage 7-light floral chandelier made in France. The fixture, most likely found in a church, has a bright blue opaline glass dish with a bulb inside and is surrounded by milk glass and bronze flowers, and has six curving arms with faux candle covers. This colorful hanging light has been cleaned and wired for US electrical using UL listed parts and is ready to be hung in your interior.   • French 18th Century Louis XVI Gilt Barometer

    Dimensions: 39 ½” H x 14 ¾” W x 1” D

    A 18th Century Louis XVI French gold-gilt barometer circa 1780. This early instrument of meteorology was used to measure atmospheric pressure and air temperature. The barometer is adorned with hand carved details; a large bow, flowers, a flaming heart, laurel leaves and scrolls. The dial face is hand-painted and has been repaired over time. The barometer is no longer in working order and is now purely decorative. Be sure to view the detailed images to see this interesting antique up close.

    A large Dutch pedestal table in a triangular shape. Topped with its original fossil marble top, there are a few surface scratches.     This French 19th Century banjo shaped case clock is an eye catching piece in any space. Topped by an ornately carved cornice above the dial faced door. Supported by an intricate brass repousse frontage, the dial face displays hand painted roman numerals as well as “Chevalley, Mouilleron-en-Pareds” to indicate the maker and origin. Shapley and well ornamented, the frame features a faux bois finish and floral designs throughout. The repousse pendulum is detailed with a pastoral scene and floral elements. Glass is original. Because of how particular longcase clocks are, you will want to have a professional come and make sure it’s level and show you how to properly wind it.     This fantastic solid oak case clock was crafted in France during the 19th century. A sharply carved bonet over a single door with glass panes for the dial case and pendulum to show through. A beautifully patinated brass repousse fronton supports the marble dial face. The Roman numerals were hand painted in blue on white porcelain shield forms. The large pendulum was crafted from brass by hand, you can still see some of the hammer marks. This weight-driven clock is in working order, provided it is regularly wound. One crank-key included.   • French 19th Century Barometer

    French 19th painted and gold gilt barometer and thermometer.  It is a recognizable ‘banjo’ shaped scientific instrument with all the carved details in gold gilt and the background is painted a sage green.  The circular face has painted numbers and lettering behind glass for reading the barometer.  There is also a painted scale on the face of the thermometer. Although it no longer works for taking measurements, it’s a great decorative piece. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look at the beautiful details.

    This early 19th century Italian altar is made of worn painted wood and worn fabric details. This is a highly decorative altar for the unknown Catholic saint carved in the center; designated by his upward pointing finger, wings, and attachment where a halo used to sit above his head. The doored cavity is framed by a painted carving of flowers and leaves and sits on a square base with painted details.     Here are three, extremely versatile large antique Italian pots.  Handmade from Italy, these glazed pots are sometimes called Top Hats and would be perfect indoors or outdoors.  They are a beautiful creamy-beige glazed ceramic, rustic vase with two handles and an amazing patinated finish.

    A spectacular hand-forged iron candelabra, made in England circa 1700. The fixture will hold seven candles, arranged in a triangular fashion. Sourced from an English church, the antique fixture has an outspoken Gothic aura that brings the din of chanting monks to mind. A simply styled tripod base grounds the wonderfully tall candle holder.

  • English Late 19th Century Large Brass Table Scale & Weights

    A stunning, large brass table scale, made near the turn of the century, England. The scale is no longer operational, but still makes an mighty impact on a space. The scale is made of brass, with two copper weigh pans. The shaped arms support the hanging pans, attached by linked brass strands. As seen in the detailed photos, each copper pan has been stamped numerous times with a seal, bearing a year, surrounded by Greek letters. The English crown can also be seen stamped into the copper. These dates signify when the scale was last calibrated. The brass column shaft sits atop a brass pedestal, which sits atop stacked brass, which sits upon a piece of gray marble. The entire scale is lifted by brass ball feet. The scale includes the weights with which it is pictured.
