Large Antique Mirrors for Sale

Large antique mirrors are well-constructed, handcrafted items that have stood the test of time. When shopping for antique mirrors, you can find large Florentine mirrors for your bathroom, gilded French Charles X mirrors for your bedroom, and much more to fit any style or taste.

The first mirrors go back thousands of years to Ancient Mesopotamia when people polished stone and copper to create reflective surfaces. By the early 20th century, polished stone and metal gave way to inexpensive alloy blends. However, the antique mirrors from the 19th century possessed a rustic appeal that many find attractive today, especially in farmhouse-style homes.

The Art Deco mirrors of the 1920s are perfect for adding a unique flair to a modern living room or entryway. The dramatic effect of some styles, like the rectangular and round Louis XVI mirrors with decorative frames, serve as perfect statement pieces for bedrooms and dining rooms.
