A magical framed reproduction from early 20th century France of Jean-Jacques Henner’s “La Liseuse” (the reader), which the original painting is part of the collection of the Musée D’Orsay in Paris. The 1880s time period is evident in the Pre-Raphaelite style of the work: soft lighting, sensual yet tasteful, and a reference to literature as seen in her leisurely reading from a book.
