  • English 1920’s Pine Bar from a Pub

    Dimensions: 39 ¾” H x 49 ¾” W x 19 ¼” D

    A small English pine bar from a pub from the 1920’s. This small serving bar is paneled on three sides with corbels and fluted columns and two surface levels. The top work surface has its original brass drip tray used to protect the wood from beverage overflow. The backside of this counter is fitted with three drawers, 13 ½”D shelves and three vertical slots. Cleaned and polished with a paste wax, this bar is ready to be used. Patina is consistent with age and war, be sure to view the detailed images.

    An English tea trolley crafted in the 19th century. The mahogany is stunning, with a deep, rich color and lovely patina. Two tiers are each enclosed with a molded edge. The four upright supports have been turned and styled to give this otherwise linear piece some flair and ornamentation. The supports are capped with turned finials and sit on brass casters. The producer’s mark is still visible on the frame, indicating its country of origin. Pairs perfectly with modern or antique decor.
