French 19th century pewter sugar bowl with Colonial, double-handled design on the baluster shape. A classic acorn finial crowns the lid, which is ringed in a coin-edge pattern around the circumference. The pair of dainty handles reflect a Neoclassical influence in the anthemion decoration, fanning out on the swelled belly of the bowl resting on a coin-edge footed base.
