French Louis XVI Style Ebonized Mahogany Enfilade

A large ebonized mahogany breakfront enfilade in the classic Louis XVI style. The original marble top is shaped to fit its base with beveled edges. There are four drawers trimmed with brass and brass ring pulls. Four paneled door fronts are also trimmed with brass are flanked with fluted columns embellished with gilt brass ormolu mounts. The center cabinet has a single 16 ¼” deep adjustable shelf, the two side cabinets have two 15 ½” adjustable shelves. Three keys are present to work all the functioning locks. French 19th Century Provincial Walnut Enfilade

This remarkable French Provincial Louis XV-style walnut and marble-top enfilade, c. 1840, is quite deep, offering plenty of storage. The impressive grey-brown marble top, with white inclusions, has recently been repaired and shows some scratches. The three shaped-panel doors are deeply carved, mounted with hand-cut steel escutcheons and steel barrel hinges, and open to reveal a single fixed shelf. Below is a well-carved apron and block feet. Accompanied by two original steel keys.
