French 19th Century Crystal-and-Brass Chandelier
Dimensions: 31-1/2″H x 23″Diameter
An exceptional late-19th century French eight-light crystal-and-brass chandelier. The light has a slender brass frame, from which crystal garlands and chains hang, supporting and beautifying the antique. The central column is encased in blown-glass and meets a cast-brass cover dish. The eight arms all have crystal bobeches and white candle covers and link garlands of faceted crystals from which prisms hang. A styled blown-glass bottom ball hangs from the central column, centering and grounding the chandelier. The fixture has been cleaned and wired for the US.
